Tuan and Lonnie are the best staff in SF! Both men made my sisters and I feel safe. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The hotel was wonderful, good locations and honestly, everyone was great. As soon as we arrived they provided us with champagne and water. I would definitely stay again.
Best hotel staff I’ve ever encountered. Everyone was friendly and super helpful. Building was dated, but in excellent condition with loads of personality. Centrally located for all the things we wanted to do while in the city. Restaurant breakfast was delicious. Bar food and drinks were excellent as well. Great experience!!
We are Marriott members, and we chose the hotel because of the location and character of the hotel. The rooms were spacious, as was the bathroom. We were on the 11th floor facing Geary Street and didn't find it noisy. Room service was tentative. We enjoyed happy hour at the bar, and the service from Kinga was outstanding. She made our stay very comfortable. The hotel is close to a lot of restaurants and shopping, so walking the area was comfortable. We would stay again when we return to San Francisco.

Nice older hotel with a very friendly staff that goes above and beyond usual hotel service. Pretty great location but one block in one direction will take you into shuttered buildings and distressed people. Nearby theaters, restaurants, and shopping in Union Square in the other three directions.
This was a last minute decision to stay in San Francisco for one evening of our trip. This hotel was absolutely perfect. The location worked out great, as we had dinner reservations nearby and it was close to walk to a lot of the spots we wanted to visit. Staff were next level, incredibly friendly and helpful with directions, advice, and ideas. The room was spotless as was the bathroom. We will definitely be staying here on a return trip.
CONSISTENTLY EXQUISITE! Lovely stay from beginning to end. Every staff member we interacted with was kind, genuine, and very helpful. Tuan was especially kind with moving us to a different room and organizing a taxi to get us to the airport in the early AM. You can just feel the dedication here! The food service was top notch, especially the club sandwich and the ghirardelli brownie. Would stay here longer if we could! Couldn’t recommend Hotel Adagio more.
I stayed here for 2 nights. Staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The room does not have a usable fridge (it only had a stocked mini fridge with things to purchase) or a microwave but we didn't stay in the room too long to need either appliance. The hotel is close to delicious diners and mini marts. It also was a nice walkable distance to Fisherman's Wharf. Overall it was a pleasant stay and I would definitely stay here again while visiting SFO. Other reviews mentioned houseless individuals all around, but nothing more than any other city has. We didn't feel unsafe walking around the area during the day to early evening hours (we did not experience nightlife, so no reviews on after hours). No one bothered us or gave us any reason to feel unsafe.
